Bio
I am a former English teacher who now writes horror and dark fantasy from my home near the Lake Michigan shoreline where I live with my wife. I’ve been inventing stories since I was ten years old. (Actually, I think the stories invent themselves. I just happen to be in the vicinity.) I wouldn’t stop if I could and will probably be tapping a keyboard until the day my fingers stop working. When not fretting about comma placement, I enjoy rock climbing, volunteering, reading (of course) and a fine glass of wine.
A passion for volunteering and helping others brought me to teaching. While I don’t still teach, I haven’t lost the passion for volunteering. I firmly believe that if you surround yourself with good people you will have no choice but do good yourself. My books might keep you up at night, but my blog is meant to inspire. I’ve met a lot of great people through volunteering and living a life of smiles. My blog shares some of those people I’ve met along the way and hopefully gives some information about how absolutely anyone can give back.
As a way of giving back, I joined other fine authors at Read a Book, Make a Difference. Please, check them out.
